The Union Station Nashville Yards, a landmark property in the Marriott Autograph Collection and a former historic train station with a distinguished past in downtown Nashville, is pleased to announce Esther White as its new general manager. White will spearhead all operations and strategic goals for the iconic property, and oversee the 125 newly renovated guest suites, meeting facilities, lobby bar and on-site restaurant, Stationairy.
White joins The Union Station Nashville Yards bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise gained from years managing upscale lifestyle hotels. White honed her skills during her two-year tenure as the general manager at the Hyatt Place Chicago River North, and most recently served as dual general manager at the Aloft and Fairfield Inn in Chicago River North. Other management titles include dual manager in downtown Houston overseeing Residence Inn and Springhill Suites.
Throughout her career, White has consistently demonstrated an ability to enhance property performance, as evidenced by her successful repositioning of the Hyatt Place hotel. Under her guidance, the introduction of the new lobby restaurant, Ema, was a testament to her innovative approach to hospitality management. With each property she has worked on, White has spearheaded a steady increase in guest loyalty year after year, reflecting her dedication to delivering exceptional experiences.

Built between 1898 and 1900, The Union Station Nashville Yards immerses guests in a world where past meets present. Until 1979, the building operated as the Louisville & Nashville Railroad station, and reopened as a boutique hotel in 1986.
