Best Nashville Hotel for Williamson County Fair

After an unexpected year off in 2020 due to the pandemic, the Williamson County Fair in Franklin, Tennessee is back in action this August, and fairgoers will find the finest in boutique luxury accommodations just a hop, skip, and a jump away at the Union Station Nashville Yards!

Our gorgeous and history-soaked hotel affords ready access to Music City’s must-see districts, but also puts you less than a half hour from the Williamson County Agricultural EXPO Park on the southern edge of Nashville’s metro area. That’s where the Williamson County Fair, a smorgasbord of exhibits, entertainment, and all-around merry vibes, will be going down August 6th through the 14th, so now’s prime time to lock down your Union Station room or suite for the affair!

The 2021 Williamson County Fair

This’ll be the 17th go-round of the fair, launched in 2005 and quickly becoming one of the region’s signature summertime events.

The Williamson County Fair offers all-ages fun, excitement, and charm, including no shortage (naturally) of agricultural, craft, and art displays. Swing by the lively barnyard with its goats, sheep, Shetland ponies, alpacas, Texas longhorn cattle, and other critters, watch old-timey craft demos, and study local historical artifacts.

There’ll be lots of onstage action courtesy of performances such as the Flippenout Extreme Trampoline Show and the Xpogo Stunt Team, plus live music from Little Roy & Lizzy, Mike Oldham & The Tone Rangers, the French Family Band, the Williamson County Bluegrass Band, and others.

Then there’s the Fairest of the Fair pageant, the Jurassic Kingdom Dinosaur Show with its full-size, lifelike Mesozoic monster puppets, and blazing fireworks on Friday and Saturday evenings.

We’re only scratching the surface here; suffice it to say, the Williamson County Fair schedule comes jampacked. Fairground buildings are open 6 to 10 PM Mondays through Fridays, 10 AM to 10 PM on Saturdays, and noon to 10 PM on Sundays. The Midway, meanwhile, hums along till 11 PM Sundays through Thursdays and midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
